remember growing up in the late 80s, early 90s and being immersed in Blackness, Black Pride and Black Struggle. We had options to our imagery. There was A Different World which used to make me want to go to an HBCU. There was The Cosby Show that made me want to have a beautiful Black family when I grew up.
